choose a good kindy

Year end is always the time for parents to choose a kindergarten for their young children. Parents need to remember that they need to visit the school and of course they need to look up for the location of the kindergarten which is convenient for them to send their children. Safety is the most important thing to look for and do the children have a place to run about when they are restless. Parents and children must feel comfortable when they walk into the classroom; is it too cramp up. Whether the classroom or the kindergarten is nicely decorated or not, it doesn't matter. The important things you need to ask yourself, " Can my child learn in this environment?". "Will she/he in good hands?" "What do I want my child to be?"
Each individual has their own perceptions of what they want. There is no good or bad kindergarten, as long as what you want for your child has been achieved then that is a good kindergarten for you and your child.
Parents need to understand that learning does not only take place at the kindergarten but also at home. Whatever the children learnt at school help the children to apply at home and what they learnt at home may conflict with their thinking at school, so parents and teachers need to work together to groom them into an independent individual. Little children learnt by following the examples and using they sense of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Parents and teachers need to show go examples!
Parents need to remember that, little children don't turn into genius once they attend school. Little children need to learn the basic foundation from the kindergarten which help them in their formal education in the primary school. Learning takes place when you see changes in your child or children. A kindergarten is not a place to create geniuses but a place to groom the children into an independent individual who can think for themselves.
